Using Puppy Pads For Small Dogs
If you have a pup who will grow into a very small dog you may consider using a puppy absorbent pad that can be placed in the bathroom. Puppy pads are used by dog owners who live in apartment buildings and want to avoid taking the elevator, and by owners who have disabilities or difficulties leaving the house on a regular basis .
The puppy pad serves the same purpose as a litter box for a cat. You can also use a litter box for a very small dog. You can also create a mini potty park by placing natural materials such as sod, mulch and non-poisonous plants inside a large plastic box. Replace the soil as needed.
Puppy pad may just be what you need for your smaller dog.
